  Any swimming pool that holds 24 inches or more of water must be surrounded by a barrier (fence). You must obtain a permit before constructing or installing any swimming pool (above-ground or in-ground) that holds 5,000 gallons or more of water. Complete rules are available on this website or at City Hall.

  If you would like to be placed on the agenda for a City Council meeting, please submit a written request to the City Secretary no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting. If, after your request is reviewed, it is not placed on the agenda you will be able to discuss it during the agenda item titled “Citizens to be Heard”.

  The City of Tioga has adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The proposed tax rate will effectively be raised by 33.12 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100.000 home by approximately $98.53.
